1. Jesse Harper DARDEN (Buckner DARDEN2, George DARDEN1) was born 14 Mar 1811, and died 20 May 1895. He married Susan SILLERS Jul 1832. She was born 20 Sep 1816, and died 25 Feb 1880.
   
  Children of Jesse Harper DARDEN and Susan SILLERS are:
  2   i. John Buckner DARDEN was born 7 Jul 1833, and died 22 Jun 1862 in Confederate States of America Hospital.
  3   ii. Martha DARDEN was born 10 Jul 1835, and died 16 Nov 1910. She married Doctor Patrick Henry WADE 12 Nov 1857. He died 22 Jun 1910.
  4   iii. Olivia DARDEN was born 4 Dec 1837, and died 5 Apr 1873. She married Doctor Uriah Overton TATE 22 Oct 1861. He died 17 Oct 1871 in Natchez, Mississippi. According to her mother's diary Olivia married on Oct. 23, 1861
  5   iv. Eliza Sillers DARDEN was born 24 Jan 1840, and died 6 Nov 1841.
  6   v. Walter DARDEN was born 13 Sep 1842, and died 16 Oct 1843.
  7   vi. Laura DARDEN was born 3 Nov 1844, and died April 31, 1926. She married Winfield BRIDEWELL 16 Feb 1870. She married Edward SHORT.
  8   vii. Ann DARDEN was born 13 May 1847, and died 23 Aug 1848.
  9   viii. Irene DARDEN was born 23 Aug 1849, and died 6 Jul 1921. She married Thomas Gage WEST 15 Jan 1868.
  10   ix. Jesse Blount DARDEN was born 16 Jan 1854, and died 12 Jul 1914. He married Sally KILLINGSWORTH 27 Jan 1876. She was born 1854, and died 1932.
  11   x. George Young Darden was born 20 Nov 1858, and died 27 Nov 1913. He married Rosa M. JONES 30 Apr 1890. She was born 1861, and died 1933. According to his mother's diary, George was born at 3:00 P.M. and weighed 9 pounds.
