These pictures were taken at "Secluseval", Jefferson County, Mississippi- 1898

The lady and gentleman had worked for the Harpers since the days of slavery.

 

They read on the backs, left to right:

Aunt Lou and Uncle Brister with Edwin (my grandfather, Dr. Edwin Linfield);

Uncle Ran and his boon companion, This picture gives a view of the park at "Secluseval";

Aunt Sophie, just in from the fields.
